Yes we love kids and yes we have lots of them, some grandchildren too. When kids become adults however it’s time for them to leave the nest. Financially speaking if you enable your adult children by not forcing them to be accountable for their own financial lives you create two very stressful scenarios. Number one you defer living one of the most exciting chapters of your life because you are allocating valuable financial resources to support someone that should be supporting themselves. Number two growth in human beings often comes from vulnerability and necessity, if your adult children aren’t put in a position where failure isn’t an option then they may become stuck in a rut.
